Weeks in the wake of pronouncing stoppage of vehicle production in India, American auto significant Ford on Friday reported an administration change in its activities in the country with Anurag Mehrotra, as of now President and Managing Director of Ford India, set to leave the organization before the month’s over.
Post declaration of change of its business in India, Balasundaram Radhakrishnan (Bala), who is at present Director, Manufacturing, Ford India Pvt Ltd (FIPL) has been delegated to the job of change official of the organization, a representative of FIPL said in an assertion.
“Bala will oversee and drive the transformation efforts associated with the restructuring,” the spokesperson said adding the company was committed to supporting customers and partners in India.
After almost thirty years of battling to leave an imprint in India, Ford Motor Co on September 9 declared that it would stop vehicle production at its two plants in the nation and will sell just imported vehicles going on as a feature of a rebuilding exercise.

Ford India will slow down vehicle assembly in Sanand by the final quarter of 2021 and vehicle and engine manufacturing in Chennai by the second quarter of 2022.

The organization had said that it would focus on developing its Ford Business Solutions capacities and team in the nation, as well as engineering and engine manufacturing for export.
